June 2023 What fun!

What a fun June Recital we had! Some Guitar and Piano students performed pieces they have been working on for RCM exams. Others played a mix of classical pieces they have been working on to share with our enthusiastic audience. What beautiful playing! We really enjoyed hearing some students who played the guitar & sang or the piano & sang a pop song. It is a wonderful skill to do both. Our student classical Guitar Quartet performed two pieces one traditional piece and the well known popular movie piece “Pirates of the Caribbean”. It was certainly a hit!

I always think of a recital as an opportunity to share music you have been working on with other students and parents. It is a celebration of accomplishments!
